Pre-School
In the Pre-School ballet program, toddlers are introduced to the essentials of classical ballet through a curriculum thoughtfully designed to build foundational artistic and technical skills with an emphasis on social interaction and fun-filled learning. Students learn a series of floor exercises that focus on flexibility, posture, balance, coordination, and proper movement execution. Students learn essential arm and leg positions, basic jumps, and centre combinations. Group and pair exercises in various formations, such as circles, diagonals, and lines enhance coordination and spatial awareness. Students create this own short choreography with the use of props like scarves, flowers, and musical instruments fostering imagination, aiding in the development of rhythm and musicality, making each session a blend of education and enjoyment.
Ages 3-4
★ Placement is determined by the student’s age as of September 1. Students remain in the same program for the full duration of the designated age group and do not transfer mid-year.
